When I first saw this book it looked interesting and to tell the truth I did not read the back and I did not think it would be like this.
The book After is not what I though it would be, I do not realy like how
the boy’s(Sam) point of view is sort of in the third person but I do like the girls (Kate) part in the story. I am on chapter 10 .

The book is geting better than it was and I actually want to keep on read on and not put the book down. I am on chapter 17 but Kate is already dun the book! The plot is sort of hard to understand but I think Kate’s(in the book) brother was shot in the Quick Mart and sam’s brother was the
perpetrator(the shooter).

Hi Ms.C my book is geting better. I am on chapter 25 and sam's part is geting better but it is not good yet.
Kates is the best part in the book because her part is not in third person and I understand it.

Protagonist -Sam and Kate
Antagonist -There is only one antagonist in this book and he is on sam’s side of the story. His name is Chalmers
Setting -Kate’s setting is on a horse ranch in a remote corner of the western foot hills
Sam’s setting is on the grimy streets of a city apartment
Conflict- Do not know yet. When I find out I will post.
Climax- Sam went to chalmers house (do not know why) and did not tell his mother.
Kate went horse riding with out a saddle on some what of a mountain and fell off many times.
Resolution- Do not know yet. When I find out I will post

Foreshadowing Hints as to whatcomes next.
Similies - A setence with like or as in it.
Metaphors - figure of speech which involves an implied comparison between two relatively unlike things using a form of be EX- The road was a ribbon of moonlight.
Alliteration- Repeated consonant sounds occurring at the beginning.

I am done my book and I realy like the ending it was a littel sad but real good and by the end I
realy liked sam's part. But I am glad Iam done the book.
